Support Worker

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team providing 1:1 support for individuals to access their community, and to enable them to participate in meaningful activities and develop their life skills within their home environment. You will also support them to develop friendships and integrate into their community.

We are looking for staff with a good understanding of people with a learning disability who have complex needs and limited verbal communication.

What we need from you

You need compassion, integrity and to treat people with dignity and respect.  You need to be reliable because people are depending on you, be able to travel between locations and work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and overnight as needed. You also need to be a great communicator, both verbally and in writing and have basic IT and numerical skills.
