Female Support Worker - South Devon (Enabling)

Location: South Devon
Salary: £7.65 per hour

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Support Worker to work in our enabling services for people with additional needs .  The activities are community based and will require travelling in the community using public transport or driving your own or person we support's vehicle.  The role will be varied and we require an individual who is flexible, adaptive and can use their initiative when lone working in the community.  You will be supporting people to develop their independence and employability skills.  You will be required to plan activities and evaluate & record progress, IT skills are essential.  Due to the nature of the role a driver is essential.  This post is Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am & 5pm and is for 37 hours per week.

You need to be reliable because people are depending on you, be able to travel between locations and work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and overnight as needed. You also need to be a great communicator, both verbally and in writing and have basic IT and numerical skills.
