Join our team! Be a Support Worker with United Response in Portishead, North Somerset.

Join us as a Support Worker and help to make great things happen in the lives of adults with learning disabilities. This Role comes with full training, generous rewards, real career progression prospects and genuine job satisfaction.

We are three young men living in Portishead and sharing a house together. We've known each other since school days and have been housemates for six years now.

We enjoy swimming, dancing, gym, horse-riding, hill walking, art and drama and we have some work commitments too. We have a car and use buses so we like to get out a lot, but also do the usual things like shopping, cooking and housework! We have learning disabilities and some health issues that are managed as part of our lives. We are supported by a team of people who help us live as independently as possible and we are looking for someone to join that team and work with us.

People who work with us tell us they enjoy working at our house and sharing in our activities. They are men and women of different ages and experience. They get training from United Response who employ them and they get to know our families too. They work flexibly as part of a team.
