Due to United Response growing in Ellesmere Port, we will therefore have a variety of Support Worker positions available including Relief, Part Time and possibly Full Time vacancies.

United Response is a leading national charity providing support to young people and adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. We believe in championing the right of disabled people to live, work, socialise and participate in the community, free of discrimination and unnecessary boundaries.
Making it happen- Your Role
You will be joining a team which supports people with serious physical and mental health disabilities, predominantly within their own homes. Our aim is to give the people you will be supporting as much control over their own lives as possible.
This is a responsible Role which is really varied, can be challenging and is extremely rewarding. the job is all about giving people encouragement, guidance and support so they can live as independently as possible and have the freedom to make their own choices.
On a daily basis, you may be involved in supporting people with the following activities:
- Managing finances
- Personal care
- Attending Drs/ hospital appointments
- Shopping and socialising
And many more.

We are developing more services in Ellesmere Port and require various Support Worker positions to be filled from Part Time, Relief and possibly Full Time roles.
Currently we support three young women and three young men across Ellesmere Port. The team currently supports people to access; the gym, provide support to attend college / work, maintain tenancy with the local housing company. All the people we support in Ellesmere Port have unique personalities and enjoy engaging in a variety of different activities such as; acting, singing, sports, bowling, swimming, DJing you will never have a boring day working in any of our Ellesmere Port services.
