Making it happen – Your Role

We are looking for an Employment Development Manager to be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our Employment Development Strategy, supporting the division to achieve its growth targets, whilst assisting with developing new Employment Services and opportunities for United Response.

Promoting United Response externally to the wider world (i.e. people with disabilities, Welfare to Work providers, Local Authorities etc), you will raise our profile, developing productive external relationships and will provide support to the organisation in expanding delivery of employment related services as part of an integrated offer across all areas.

About you

With sound levels of professional practice / knowledge across all welfare to work areas relating to people with disabilities and mental issues, the successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record in business development, ideally with bid writing and management of bid processes. With competent administrative skills in both financial / budget planning and management and proficient in IT skills, you will have excellent Team Management skills with the ability to manage timescales, meeting deadlines.

A driving licence is essential with this role, along with a willingness to travel nationally, working regularly across our North-West Division, with occasional overnight stays.
