United Response is a leading national charity providing support to young people and adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. We believe in championing the right of disabled people to live, work, socialise and participate in the community, free of discrimination and unnecessary boundaries.

We require Support Workers in and around the Exeter area to support adults with learning disabilities living in their own homes to live independently and reach their potential.  BSL would be an advantage but training will be provided. 

There are various hours available, Relief and Permanent. The closing date for this position is 28th February 2018.

What we need from you

You need compassion, integrity and to treat people with dignity and respect. You need to be reliable because people are depending on you, be able to travel between locations and work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and overnight as needed. You also need to be a great communicator, both verbally and in writing and have basic IT and numerical skills.
