Café Co-Ordinator - Part Time

Location: Derby Lodge Cafe, Heanor
Salary: £7.83 per hour
Expiry Date: 06/06/2018
Job Type: Permanent - Part Time

United Response is a leading national charity and we provide support for over 2000 people with learning disabilities, mental health needs or physical disabilities. We believe that people with disabilities should have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else. This is the vision we work towards and we are as passionate about achieving this now as we were when we started over 40 years ago.

We currently have a part time vacancy for a Café Co-ordinator at our Derby Lodge Café in Shipley Park, Heanor.

As the Café Co-ordinator you will be the first point of contact for café customers, providing a warm welcome and a high standard of customer service within a busy, fast paced café. You will provide a supportive environment enabling learning opportunities for work placement participants as well as being responsible for supervising them.

To be a great Café Co-ordinator you don't need to come from a social care background. It would be useful but not essential for you to have previous experience within the hospitality industry. You will need good communication and numeracy skills, commitment to excellent customer service and a willingness to undertake training as required. Personally you will be patient and be understanding of different learning styles. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop the role and support trainees to maximise their learning opportunities.

In return for your passion and commitment, we offer a competitive salary, paid annual leave, pension contribution, childcare vouchers, life assurance, access to occupational health, physiotherapy, counselling and advice services. You will be supported to learn and develop your career at United Response, with fully paid training and have access to nationally recognised qualifications.
