York and North Yorkshire
Our York team is dedicated to helping people with learning disabilities or autism to live well, learn new skills, find work and connect with their local area.
Working towards this aim, our training and community scheme called URTEC offers a huge range of support. URTEC provides training in Café West, health and wellbeing outreach and an autism hub, as well as a one-stop-shop for supported employment, a flexible activity base and a centre to learn media skills.
In North Yorkshire, The Boot Shop at Easingwold is another great local asset which has supported adults with disabilities in a safe, community space for over 20 years.
We also provide registered care and supported living accommodation in York, Ripon and Harrogate, where people are supported to live well, stay healthy and find new opportunities to develop.
Find out more about these dynamic support services on Facebook: URTEC, The Base@Burnholme and The Autism Hub.
There’s a lot going on in our North Yorkshire patch, so we could do with some help! Check out our jobs below to join our amazing team.
