We are looking for someone who can join our team in Kingswood as a Relief Support Worker at our Allotment based activity centre, Potters Den.
The main criteria for this role is to enable the people we support to live their own life through the application of person centred approaches, promoting individual choice, decision-making, control and independence through community based activities.
The person needed for this role;
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Relief Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide support during staff absences, including covering shifts during holidays and sickness. You should have a passion for supporting people with disabilities and be committed to delivering a person-centred approach. Alongside this you will need to;
- Enjoy working outside in all weathers
- Have an interest in gardening or horticulture
- Be willing to learn woodwork skills, or already have experience
- Have a love for crafting and organising sessions for the PWS
- Enjoy the benefits of working outside and learning new skills
- Be able to work alongside other organisations in the community
