We’re looking for aSupport Worker in Ipplepen to assist a person who thrives on fun activities and independence, loves Disney, enjoys going on holidays, meeting friends for coffee, and exploring the local cinema and dining spots.

About the Role

This role is as fulfilling as it is varied. Working within our supported living service, you’ll be dedicated to helping this individual live with choice and independence.Driving is essential for this role as you’ll help the person you support enjoy outings and stay active in the community.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Daily support: Assisting with household tasks and personal routines, including personal care
  • Medication management: Administering medication as needed
  • Mobility support: Assisting with hoists to ensure comfort and safety
  • Community engagement: Encouraging and joining in on activities like trips to the cinema, dining out, and social events
  • Travel and holidays: Accompanying and supporting on holiday trips for an enriching experience

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A full UK driving license
  • A compassionate approach and commitment to respectful, dignified support
  • Willingness to handle medication administration and personal care confidently
  • Patience, strength, and the ability to manage challenging behaviours when they arise

Experience is welcome but not required; the right attitude, patience, and willingness to help are what matter most.
