We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join us as a Waking Nights Support Worker. You will be working in our busy service in Exmouth, providing person-centred support to people with a range of needs. This is a great opportunity for individuals to join a friendly, supported and experienced team.

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for:
- Helping with daily chores such as cooking and cleaning
- Administering medication
- Manual handling
- Personal care
- Checking in on the people we support
- Necessary administrative tasks
- Dealing with some minor challenging behaviours
- As part of your role, you will be using a digital app called Nourish, where all care and support plans of the people we support are held. Experience of using a digital or mobile app would be desirable however full training will be given
As an organisation we don’t ask for specific skills or experience but we are looking for candidates with a passion for providing first class care, a friendly and conversational nature and the ability to act as a calming influence. If you can combine these qualities with reliability and good organisational skills you will have ingredients to make a fantastic Waking Nights Support Worker. Previous experience of working within the social care sector would be beneficial but is not compulsory.
In return for your dedication as a Support Worker you will receive:
- £11.75 per hour (plus an additional 12.07% rolled up holiday pay)

Please note this role will include elements of weekend and bank holiday work so flexibility is desirable. Successful applicants will be subject to a full DBS check.
