Location: WhittonSalary: £13.15 per hourHours: Part-Time & Relief

Are you looking for a rewarding job that’s different every day? Do you want to work in a fun, dynamic team where you can make a real impact on people’s lives?

We’re on the hunt for passionate, energetic, and compassionate Support Workers to join our vibrant team in Whitton. If you’re someone who enjoys variety, has a positive attitude, and loves helping others, then this is the job for you!

As a Support Worker with us, you’ll be supporting individuals with disabilities in a short breaks service, creating fun experiences, and making sure every person we support lives their best life. No two days are the same, and you’ll get to explore the local community, try new activities, and support people to develop their life skills.

What Will You Be Doing?

In this role, your day-to-day will include:

  • Creating a Fun Atmosphere: Be the spark that makes each day exciting and full of possibility.
  • Community Adventures: Take the people we support out to enjoy activities they love – think cinema trips, bowling, swimming, football games, and more!
  • Supporting Independence: Help individuals gain life skills, manage personal finances, and take ownership of their routines.
  • Providing Personal Care: Help with personal hygiene, medication, and everyday tasks, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

At United Response, we care about who you are as much as what you can do. We’re looking someone who’s positive, creative, and full of energy. Experience is not essential because we’ll provide all the training you need. What matters most is that you’re passionate and full of enthusiasm.

  • Personality is Key: We need someone who’s outgoing and loves being social – whether it’s a walk in the park or hitting up the local pub for a pint.
  • Tech-Savvy: You’ll use a digital app to manage care plans, so being comfortable with apps is a plus, but don’t worry, we’ll train you up.

What You’ll Get from Us:

  • Holiday: 20 days off (plus extra after 3 & 5 years)
  • Pension Contributions to help you plan for the future
  • Free Access to Wellbeing Services including counselling, physio, and more
  • Travel Perks: Season ticket loan to save on your commute
  • Discounts: Get savings at over 3,500 retailers through our online platform
  • Opportunities to Study: Want a qualification in social care? You can work and study at the same time (subject to funding and criteria)
  • Growth: With support, training, and career development opportunities

This role is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to make a difference, have fun, and grow with us! Ready to join a team that values creativity, compassion, and community? Apply today!

Note: This role will include weekend and evening shifts, and may also involve accompanying the people we support on holiday. Flexibility is key.
